Food photography at Sydney Props Photo Studios opens up new creative and styling possibilities with Access to Props.
We have a large and eclectic assortment of rustic props and furniture with tones and textures that work beautifully with food. We have old wooden crates, wicker baskets, period luggage and picnic sets, as well hundreds of small items and curiousities. We can source and supply fresh food items, vegetables and fruit to a brief, as well as garnishes, edible flowers, seed pods and gourds.
We have in-house access to entire themes like Rustic Banquet and Boho Wedding that are available as an entire set, or as small vignettes.
All of our studios have areas that can be set up for food preparation – and we can equip your shoot with any food preparation equipment you specify.
STUDIO 1
WAREHOUSE
Unique qualities of light throughout the day – old sash windows facing east and west – soft natural light perfect for accurate colour rendition of food and beverage. Old rustic floorboards, distressed timber and corrugated wall finishes.

STUDIO 2
WHITE CYC
Featuring street access and a white infinity cyclorama, this studio is perfectly suited to product photography. This studio can also be blacked out and custom painted.

STUDIO 3
PIPELINE
This dual-character studio features a white infinity cyclorama juxtaposed with a rustic timber interior and beautifully set-finished elements – this small studio is ideal for product photography and a closed set.

STUDIO 4
TV PRODUCTION
Soundproof and an enormous white infinity cyc – Studio 4 is a favourite for large food and product shoots with lighting – it has a fully equipped kitchen and direct street access.

GREEN SCREEN
Our Soundproof Green Screen Studio is also great for food, especially photographing content for deep etching. Shoot the food and drop it into any setting. This studio can also be fully blacked-out
